Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Liftly (“Liftly,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Liftly.

The service

Liftly is a social fitness app that connects to your Oura Ring account, with your authorization, and turns your daily health metrics into a friendly competition with members of your circle. Each day a metric is chosen and the member who performs best earns a trophy.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and have a valid Oura account to use the core features. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

Your Oura data

Liftly accesses your Oura data only after you authorize it through Oura’s OAuth flow, and uses it solely to provide the features described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect Oura or revoke access at any time. Liftly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oura Health Oy.

Not medical advice

Liftly is for entertainment and motivation. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice. The scores, metrics, and comparisons in the app should not be used to diagnose, treat, or make health decisions. Always consult a qualified professional for medical concerns. Compete responsibly and listen to your body.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Falsify, manipulate, or tamper with health data to gain an advantage.
• Access another user’s account or data without permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Use Liftly for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

Circles & shared content

When you join a circle, your daily competition scores, trophies, and history are visible to the other members of that circle. Only join circles with people you are comfortable sharing this information with. You can leave a circle at any time.

Availability

We work to keep Liftly running reliably, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that data will sync perfectly or that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Health data delivery depends in part on Oura’s systems, which are outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liftly and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Liftly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm Liftly or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Effective” date above. Continued use of Liftly after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
