Need a hand? Email us at johnbfinberg@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you, usually within a couple of days. Below are answers to the questions we hear most.
What do I need to use Liftly?
An Oura Ring and an Oura account. Liftly reads your daily Oura metrics to score the duels — there’s no manual logging. If you don’t have an Oura Ring yet, the app won’t have data to compete with.
How do I connect my Oura Ring?
When you first sign in, Liftly walks you through connecting Oura. You can also start or re-do the connection any time — you’ll be sent to Oura’s secure authorization screen, and after you approve, your data begins syncing automatically.
My data isn’t syncing
Oura data can take a little while to arrive after you sync your ring in the Oura app each morning. If a day looks empty, make sure your ring has synced in the Oura app, then reopen Liftly. If it persists, reconnect Oura from the app or email us and we’ll help recover the missing days.
How do daily duels work?
Each day, Liftly picks one metric — sleep, steps, readiness, activity, resting heart rate, or stress — and ranks everyone in your crew on it. The winner takes the day’s trophy. Win the most days in a week and you’re crowned the crew’s weekly champion.
How do I create or join a crew?
Open Settings → Manage Crews to create a new crew or join one with an invite code. Share your crew’s invite to bring friends in. You can leave a crew at any time, which stops sharing your scores with that group.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Toggle notifications in Settings, or in your device’s system settings for Liftly. We only send duel reminders and results you’ve opted into.
How do I disconnect Oura or delete my account?
You can disconnect Oura at any time to stop further data collection. To permanently delete your account along with your Oura connection, tokens, and duel history, go to Settings → Delete Account. This is irreversible. You can also revoke Liftly’s access directly from your Oura account settings.
